The stud Bleniocavalli is a farmstead that specializes in the breeding of american horses (Paint and Appaloosa). For the moment there are about 30 horses on the stud. Each year several foals are born, which are raised in a natural and harmonic way staying togeher with mother and herd.

Bleniocavalli is situated on the splendid plane of Lottigna immersed in the unspoiled and grandiose landscape of the "Valle di Blenio". The stud is housed in an ancient, newly renovated farmhouse and its pastures, where you can find picturesque rusticos, extend down to the river Brennero.

The stud sells trained horses from its own breeding and also trains private horses following a gentle method. In addition, there are courses teaching a first approach to equitation and lessons in the saddle. Horses, for which we provide boarding, enjoy during the whole year pastures full of light, clean air and ample possibility for movement.
The stud also proposes tours, reaching alpin passes, staying overnight in mountain huts and traversing unhurriedly on horse back ancient tracks leading throught the charming landscape. Innumerable itineraries, from the bottom of the valley until up into the mountain region, ensure a large choice of tours for each level of difficulty.

Since 10 years the stud dedicates itself to the breeding of american horses, one of the rare species in the world, which is not selected according to purity but according to their good nature and temparament and a stature, especially suited for this mountain region.
The horses which are today on the stud originate from the successful and passionate work of these years. Since the first importations, the horses today, being born in the Blenio valley are perfectly adapted to the alpine environment.

It is our objective to give back to the horse a role, better fit to its nature, to cultivate and promote harmony and trust between man and nature and to share this experience with you.
